VANCOUVER, May 15, 2012 - The Coaches Site is pleased to announce its lineup of keynote speakers for the second annual Hockey Coaches Conference. Speakers include some of today’s most recognizable names and forward-thinking minds in hockey coaching.

In addition to this year’s keynote speakers, The Coaches Site will welcome several other sports professionals including recently appointed head coach of Penn State’s men’s hockey team, Guy Gadowsky. Also joining the line-up is innovative chiropractor Dr. Stefan Sigalet who will share his expertise on dealing with and healing the effects of concussions.

“We have quickly become the largest coaching conference in western Canada and I think the quality of our guest speakers really reflects that,” says conference organizer and The Coaches Site managing director, Aaron Wilbur. “We are really excited to connect these star coaches and hockey professionals with emerging and grassroots coaches in Canada, and to ultimately improve the game for young players in this country.”

The two-day conference will be held at the Delta Hotel and Conference Centre in Burnaby, BC on July 20-21, 2012. The event focuses on coaching strategies, conditioning and skill development in an interactive environment. The format will consist of presentations, workshops and breakout sessions.
